Director Richard Linklater (School of Rock) calls Timothy "Speed" Levitch a "chiropractor of the brain." He is a freelance urban philosopher, a cult hero, and the most famous tour bus guide on the planet. He first came into prominence as the subject of the documentary film The Cruise, then played a part in Linklater's Waking Life. Now he is in Live From Shiva's Dance Floor, a new Linklater short playing at T/F as part of our Little Truths program. On Sunday between 2 and 5 pm, Speed will offer a guided tour of Columbia, in which he will seek to transcend "a litany of facts and notions" by illuminating the mundane and the beautiful. $15 gets you a ticket for this mystery tour complete with a bag lunch from the Uprise Bakery.
