Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring caused riots at its premiere in 1913, and nearly a century later, the ballet still inflames high passions. At least that's true for the 250 students who signed up to dance in a massive production of The Rite of Spring in Berlin in 2003. This motley crew of teenage performers, under the direction of choreographer Royston Maldoom, received a crash course in dance, discipline, creativity, confidence and courage.
