The origin and uses of the English language's favorite curse word, featuring enthusiastic purveyors such as comedian Billy Connolly, rapper/actor Ice T and filmmaker Kevin Smith, mixed in with folks like Miss Manners, Ron Jeremy, Pat Boone and Hunter S. Thompson. A film that, in the wrong hands, could have been a f*cking mess is given visual zip with animation (from Bill Plympton) and creative use of some amazingly funny historic footage. But it's the calvacade of great interviews that carries the film and helps it find its voice. With theories of origin (most of which are proven wrong), a clever guide to proper usage and, finally, some real insight into the political power of words, this film is guaranteed to offend some and leave others chortling in their seats.
