Stephens College hosts this filmmaker symposium on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 3 pm. Attendees include Ronit Avni (Just Vision); Alanis Obomsawin, the First Nations Canadian documentary filmmaker (Kanehsatake: 270 Years of Resistance), Grace Lee (The Grace Lee Project), and Liz Ogilvie (Docurama/New Video).

About the panelists
Liz Ogilvie is the Marketing Manager for Docurama®, an independent DVD label dedicated exclusively to cutting-edge, critically acclaimed documentary films. Previously, she managed the workshops and screening programs at DocuClub, a resource organization for documentary filmmakers based in New York City. Before her tenure at DocuClub, Ogilvie was the Managing Editor at FILMMAKER Magazine where she managed the editorial and production departments and contributed to the magazine. She is a graduate of Edinburgh University in Scotland and prior to her career in film she was a Commissioning & Managing Editor for an international publisher where she divided her time between Edinburgh and London before being transferred stateside.
