Meeting Brett Morgen in person, it's hard not to draw comparisons to his most famous film subjects. Like Robert Evans or Abbie Hoffman, Brett is an animated speaker, whose ideas seem to well up and spill out as fast as he can talk. But Brett is also an extremely thoughtful observer and critic of contemporary culture. His breadth of subjects — from a small-town high school basketball team to the Yippee revolution — is impressive, and his kick-out-the-jams style means that he's never afraid to tell you where he stands.
