The Kim & Ollie Show: The Push/Pull Relationship Between Director and Editor

It's not a secret that film is a deeply collaborative process, and with docs much of that process happens over months in the editing suite. Kim Longinotto and her longtime editor Ollie Huddleston have collaborated on a trio of remarkable films that have played at T/F: Sisters in Law; Hold Me Tight, Let Me Go, and this year's Rough Aunties. It's a relationship that Kim honors as crucial to her films' success, and in this intimate session we get a sense for how they make it all flow.
