Sneak preview. A West Virginia college town with a mosque and a population of 30,000 might seem an obvious setting for a cultural skirmish, but when a clash occurs it is not a fight between two religions — it is a power struggle within one. As a colleague of Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, Asra Nomani witnessed Islamic extremism firsthand; she did not expect to find it in when she returned home to raise her son. Soon the Islamic Center of Morgantown is embroiled in a media frenzy, as Asra unwaveringly confronts what she sees as malignant intolerance. Through engaging interviews and expertly shot pivotal moments, Director Brittany Huckabee captures the controversy and rewardingly refuses to name either an aggressor or a victim. (DF)
