Sneak preview. After attacks on doctors and ambulance drivers erupt in the Polish city of Lodz, directors Richard Solarz and Fredrik von Krusestjerna arrive to make sense of a complex and macabre series of events. They find an attempted murder, feuding funeral moguls and a system of state burial funds that make bodies worth more dead than alive. Necrobusiness shows us mortuaries that look like auto dealerships and unbelievable judges whose customary gold chains seem similar to the jewelry of a wealthy undertaker. Shocking confessions and unexpected humor punctuate the gradually unfolding intrigue of this compelling and stylish look at death and corruption, which also features moody, noirish shots of urban Lodz, a rogue's gallery of shady characters and a puckish, playful undercurrent.
