Traveling to True/False

Those traveling to Columbia by air can fly into either Kansas City International (MCI) or St. Louis International (STL) airport. The Mo-X Shuttle serves both airports, providing ground transportation from the airport to Columbia (approx. 2 hour drive). Schedule and rate information for Mo-X can be found on their website.

Occasionally, you can snag a good deal flying into Columbia's airport (10 minutes south of town) on Northwest/Mesaba, if you don't mind first going through Memphis, home of Elvis and Stax Records.

Another way to make your way straight into the heart of the T/F Film Fest is riding the Megabus. This is an inexpensive and easy way to get to Columbia, especially for those of you coming from Chicago. If you book early, you can get some super cheap rates. As of January 2, a trip from Chi-town to downtown Columbia is only $1! The earlier you book, the cheaper the ticket.

Weather

This is the Show-Me State. Sometimes you're best served by just sticking your head out the window to see what Mother Nature's served up. That doesn't help you much if you're packing for your trip, though. So, plan for late winter temperatures hovering around the high 30s or low 40s. Pack your coat and mittens, but take solace in the fact that it's only a short stroll between all of the screenings and special events.
