March March

The March March is a free event open to all members of the public. Come as a participant or view as a spectator!

This year's theme is "There Are No Small Stories." Participants are encouraged to dress colorfully, to construct and carry fun props, to make noise, and to push the level of imagination. In short, this is a chance for you to create your own scene at this year's fest. There will be live music from New Orleans' Free Agents Brass Band, the Raya Brass Band, the MU drum line, and Jordan Wax's Ozark conglomeration, entertainers, and the most important ingredient... You! The only requirements are that you must be safe for the participants around you and the spectators on the street and that all floats must be human powered! Please, no overly commercial or political promoting entries.

The parade will begin in the big field next to the Macklanburg Theater and march down E. Broadway to Ninth St. and end at the Missouri Theatre.
