Traveling to True/False

Getting There

Those traveling to Columbia by air can fly into either Kansas City International (MCI) or St. Louis International (STL) airport. The MoX Shuttle serves both airports, providing ground transportation from the airport to Columbia (approx. 2 hour drive). Schedule and rate information for MoX can be found on their website.

Midwest Airlines is the official airline sponsor of True/False 2008 and as such offers T/F attendees generous savings on normally published airfares for anyone flying in for the event — and it's very easy to use.

For convenience, there are three easy ways for individuals to save when booking their flights:

  1. Visit www.midwestairlines.com and enter the promo code.
  2. Call Midwest at 800-452-2022 and provide the code to the agent.
  3. Purchase ticket through a travel agent and mention the discount code.

By car: Columbia is located approximately halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis on Interstate 70, and about 25 miles north of Jefferson City on US Highway 63. All True/False venues are located in downtown Columbia.

Weather

This is the Show-Me State. Sometimes you're best served by just sticking your head out the window to see what Mother Nature's served up. That doesn't help you much if you're packing for your trip, though. So, plan for late winter temperatures hovering around the high-30s or low-40s. Pack your coat and mittens, but take solace in the fact that it's only a short stroll between all of the screenings and special events.
