Shuttle Buses

Those traveling to Columbia by air can fly into either Kansas City International (MCI) or St. Louis International (STL) airport. The MoX Shuttle serves both airports, providing ground transportation from the airport to Columbia (approx. 2 hour drive). Schedule and rate information for MoX can be found on their website.

Mind the Gap

For T/F 2008, to make up for the Missouri Theatre being renovated, we needed new venues for the fest — and found them just a few blocks to the east at Stephens College. (They became such a popular part of the fest, we decided to bring them back in 2009, even with a new-and-improved Missouri Theatre back in business.) In New York or Chicago, the five-block walk from the Blue Note to Windsor Auditorium wouldn't be seen as a big deal. But at T/F, we pride ourself on proximity, so we're going the extra mile — actually a third of a mile — to help you survive the gap, and to highly discourage you from driving. 1. We've recruited a crop of local artists to create diverting scenes along the pilgrimage route to make the approximately seven-minute walk more diverting. 2. For those who prefer something more motorized and communal on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, look for the black T/F shuttles (provided by Mo-X) traveling up and down Broadway, with a route that winds past the Tiger Hotel, the Missouri Theatre and Ragtag. They'll be coming every few minutes so you'll never wait long.
